Jeff Hardy vs Mr Anderson

At the end of Bound For Glory 2010 Jeff Hardy shocked the wrestling world by turning on Kurt Angle and Mr Anderson at the end of the their triple threat match to side with Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan by attacking both men with a crutch before pinning Mr Anderson for the win and the Heavyweight Championship.  After 15 years of appearing as a 'can't do anything wrong' babyface, Hardy would  begin his descent into darkness by becoming a founding member of, and front-man for, Immortal.

Jeff Hardy successfully defended his title against all comers through the winter of 2010, and going into 2011 it seemed as though nobody could defeat the Charismatic Enigma, especially with Hardy being backed up by fellow stablemates such as Jeff Jarrett, Abyss, and Beer Money.  Throughout the three months he had held the title, Hardy had become ruthless, unforgiving, and arrogant, knowing that as long as he he remained with Immortal the title would remain over this shoulder.  At Genesis, on January 9th 2011, Hardy would make his way down to the ring, cigarette lit and sporting his causal attire, with the knowledge that Anderson had already seen off Matt Morgan just moments previously.  After 9 minutes of action and interference from Matt Hardy, Eric Bischoff, Matt Morgan, and Rob Van Dam, Anderson would hit Hardy with a Mic Check and finally win the Heavyweight Title.

The loss of the Title sent Immortal and Hardy on a path for revenge, but with the members of Fortune parting ways with Immortal, their luck seemed to be on the decline.  However, Jeff Hardy would get his rematch against Mr Anderson, this time at Against All Odds in a Ladder Match.  With Immortal membership slowly depleting and Hardy's momentum seemingly dwindling it appeared as though Anderson would retain the title....this was not the case.  After 18 minutes of fighting and back-and-froth ladder spots Hardy regained the title and brought it back to Immortal.  Just 1 month after regaining TNA's top prize Hardy would come crashing down due to personal issues that affected his match at Victory Road 2011, sending him into a suspension in which he wouldn't return until September of the same year.

Jeff Hardy entered his rivalry with Mr Anderson as a cocky heel that knew his own value, and left exactly the same, the only difference was that at the beginning of the feud Hardy was entering the arenas to thunderous boos, but by the time he regained the title at Against All Odds he was the coolest heel in the world having won over the majority of the crowd once again.
