Return of the Mac: At WWE's controversial Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia, the World Cup finals took place to cement one superstar as the best of the best, the only problem was that the said superstar was Shane O'Mac.  O'Mac wasn't initially in the tournament but shimmied his way into the final against Dolph Ziggler, and went on to win the match. This is a pathetic attempt to gain attention by WWE, especially on a show that featured the Brothers of Destruction, DX. And Brock Lesnar in the highest profile matches.  As the reliance on the old guard continues, so will the negative backlash from the fans!

Injured Game:  At Crown Jewel in a match in which he teamed with Shawn Michaels to take on the Undertaker and Kane, Triple H fell victim to a torn pectoral muscle, an extremely painful and severe injury.  The result of such injury could mean The Game misses the chance to compete at Wrestlemania 35 next year.

Champion vs. Champion:  Once Brock Lensar defeated Braun Strowman in order to win the Universal Title for the second time, UFC's Daniel Cormier was quick to reignite his rivalry with The Beast.  Cormier has challenged Lesnar to an Octagon Showdown in which both the UFC Heavyweight,  Light Heavyweight and Universal Championship would be on the line.  This would be the first of it's kind and definitely one to watch.

Back to Japan:  NJPW are set to offer massive deals to top WWE stars Shinsuke Nakamura, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows, bringing the trio back to the promotion which gained them so much success.  If a deal does go ahead then the wrestlers would jump ship in late January when their contracts with the WWE run out. This would be very impressive swoop for the Japanese promotion and would allow all three wrestlers to move on to better things.

Watch the Revolution:  Britain's Revolution Pro Wrestling have launched an Android App for their On-Demand service in order to boost subscribers.  This could be a very important move for the promotion and would make their content much more universal, in terms of product accessibility.  Fans should be excited as the more RevPro the better.
